Ways to Give

Whether you attended school here, worked here, lived here or grew up here, you are a Broncho, and Bronchos give. It’s through that generosity that the University of Central Oklahoma will continue to thrive as a metropolitan institution focused on transforming our graduates to make our communities even better.  For all the reasons you call yourself a Broncho, please consider a gift to support the excellence that is the University of Central Oklahoma.

Ways to Give:

Annual Fund

The UCO Foundation Annual Fund is a wonderful way to provide broad support to the University. You can direct your annual fund gift to one of UCO's five undergraduate colleges, the Chambers Library, the Wellness Center/Olympic/Paralympic program, or the UCO's General Scholarship Endowment. Your gift is an annual reminder to UCO students that you are invested in their future. To make your gift to the UCO Annual Fund right now, use our online giving form and select the Annual Fund designation under the college or program of your choice.

Endowments

Whether contributing to an existing endowment or establishing a new one, your gift becomes a permanent source of support for UCO. The Foundation houses many endowed scholarship and award funds that offer aid to students and faculty from a variety of university programs. The scholarship or award is given each year from the interest earned on the invested principal in the endowment.

An endowment fund can be opened at the Foundation with a $2,000 investment and becomes fully endowed when the fund reaches at least $10,000. The Foundation will begin distributing awards or scholarships from the earned interest the first semester after the fund has been fully endowed (or invested) at $10,000 or more for a year.

To contribute to an existing UCO Foundation endowment, use our
online giving form and either select the endowed fund, if it is listed, or enter the name in the other designation box.

If you would like to establish a new endowment, please call the UCO Foundation office at (405) 974-2770.

Unrestricted Giving

Unrestricted gifts provide the most flexibility to University leadership in responding to the greatest and immediate needs of the university. When you designate your gift as unrestricted, you are not giving UCO a "blank check" for the use of the funds. The Foundation adheres to strict "use of funds" policies and keeps record of every dollar spent, ensuring these funds directly benefit the UCO community. Additionally, the UCO President and other University leadership determine priorities for the use of unrestricted dollars in accordance with UCO's comprehensive strategic plan.

We appreciate and honor the trust these donors place in us and hold the ethical and appropriate use of these funds among our highest priorities. To make an unrestricted gift to UCO, use our online giving form and select the unrestricted gift designation.

Faculty/Staff Giving

It's only natural that some of UCO's most enthusiastic support comes from its faculty and staff. They see every day how critical private funding is to our students and their educational experience. Faculty and staff may choose to have their annual gift taken out of their paycheck before taxes. Simply download the Payroll Deduction Form below and return your pledge to the UCO Foundation, campus box 133. Faculty can make an outright gift, as well, by using our online giving form or making arrangements through the Foundation office at (405) 974-2770

Corporate/Foundation Support

Corporations and Foundations provide significant support for many of UCO's programs. Many corporations see their gift as an investment in the future workforce. Their support provides scholarships and specialized funding for unique educational experiences, cultivating the desire to learn and achieve in UCO students. With a broad range of academic programs, corporations can easily find match with their interests.

Foundations are also a great source for specialized funding for UCO's programs. Foundations often have very specific areas of interest for their grant opportunities. Many UCO programs have been honored with grants of varying amounts that have allowed significant advancement in their area.

To find out how your corporation or foundation might be able to support UCO, contact Anne Holzberlein, President of the Foundation at aholzberlein@uco.edu or call (405) 974-2770.
