Midfirst Bank Donates to Establish Match Scholarship Fund

The UCO Foundation recently received a $1 million donation from MidFirst Bank to establish the MidFirst Match Scholarship Fund. Newly established scholarships benefiting incoming UCO students are eligible for a match from this fund. The MidFirst Match Scholarship Fund will provide $2 million in newly endowed scholarships for qualifying students.

Boeing Awards UCO Foundation with Grant Benefiting OKA+ Schools, Veterans

The UCO Foundation received more than $100,000 from Boeing to support the OKA+ Schools Institute at the University of Central Oklahoma (OKA+ Schools) and programs to recruit and retain military-connected students. The most significant portion of the grant, $80,000, will support the fifth year of an innovative OKA+ Schools STEAM program with $30,000 to meet the needs of military-connected students at UCO.

Alumnus, Retiree Honored


Adams Honored with Scholarship, Hall of Fame Induction

Dwight Adams, Ph.D., Central alumnus and former director of the UCO’s W. Roger Webb Forensic Science Institute, was recently honored with a scholarship in his name and inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. The Dwight Adams Endowed Scholarship in Forensic Science aims to support deserving students who embody the same qualities that Adams exhibited throughout his career.

Alumna Feature

Alumna Cassandra Kalancha was featured in 405 Business Magazine's "The Metro's Most Influential" list for her role as executive director of The Greater OKC Asian Chamber of Commerce.

Kalancha earned a Master of Education from UCO in Adult and Higher Education – Talent Development.
