The latest issue of the university magazine Old North is available now. The magazine follows the theme of “From Vision to Reality” and features a variety of articles showcasing the evolution and impact of an idea. 

From the tight bonds within Central’s champion wrestling team to an alumna who penned a meaningful children’s book rich with culture and an alumnus who created several scholarships to benefit students, the magazine celebrates what it means to be a Broncho.

President Lamb Champions B.R.O.N.C.H.O. Way

Todd G. Lamb became UCO’s 22nd President July 1, 2023, marking a new chapter in a distinguished career that spans public service, statewide elected office, private law practice and business ownership. In his role leading Oklahoma’s metropolitan university, President Lamb ensures the Central team remains focused on educating students through transformative learning and meeting the critical workforce needs of our state and nation.

Elizabeth Dahl Accepts Full Ride

Alumna Elizabeth Dahl has recently been accepted with a full ride to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She will pursue a Ph.D. in history focusing on modern European history.

Dahl earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in history from Central.

Alumna Feature

Alumna Andria Johnson has been named the senior director of people and inclusion for the National Women's Soccer League.
Johnson had previously worked at Red Ventures, serving as the Director of People Operations for RV Travel. She also spent time as the senior human resources director at the Dallas Mavericks and spent three years at the NBA league offices, where she served as a talent acquisition recruiter.  
Johnson earned her bachelor of business administration from Central.
