At the University of Central Oklahoma Foundation, we believe each gift is the result of a sincere desire to make a difference and an expression of trust in the University. The UCO Foundation honors that trust by ensuring your gift is used exactly as you specify and that each of our supporters is recognized and thanked for their generosity.

Mission
The University of Central Oklahoma Foundation is an independent non-profit organization designed to raise funds to support the University of Central Oklahoma and its students.

The Foundation was established as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1954 to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students and support for faculty, campus activities and vital programs at the University of Central Oklahoma. In 1994, the Foundation Board of Trustees made the decision to become an active fundraiser and the philanthropic steward for the university instead of solely an administrator of donated funds. Since then, the Foundation has more than doubled its assets, starting with more than $6 Million in donations, pledges and estate gifts in 1994 to more than $50 million today, reflecting the University of Central Oklahoma's continued growth in size, prominence and impact.

Endowments

Endowments are gifts to the University in which the principal is invested.

Donors can designate the earnings from their investments to support scholarships, facility improvements and programs. These gifts create a permanent source of funding and allow donors to make a lasting difference in students' lives. If you have questions on establishing an endowment, contact the appropriate Advancement staff member below:
