Homecoming 2020

The University of Central Oklahoma has celebrated homecoming since 1901, starting from a small informal reception in Old North to the parade, campus decorations and family-friendly events we typically host today. This year, Central Homecoming will take a different approach due to the pandemic.

To celebrate all things Central this year, we have created exciting virtual and socially distant opportunities*. Our festivities begin with Broncho Round-Up on Friday, Sept. 25, a drive-through grab-and-go event where alumni can get swag bags filled with UCO Alumni goodies. As you’re out and about – or even just relaxing at home – during homecoming week, we hope you will show off your Broncho pride with your new gear!

We will then host Roaming Bronchos on Sept. 30, a virtual happy hour event for alumni "roaming" anywhere. To continue the celebratory week, we will host Homecoming Home Brews on Oct. 1, a virtual workshop on home brewing.

Any alumni celebrating their 50th graduation anniversary from Central is a Golden Broncho and we want to applaud the occasion. To celebrate our newest Golden Bronchos from the Class of 1970, we will be distributing a special celebration package that will include your 50-year honor medal. To receive this commemorative gift, we ask that you register here.

If you can’t participate in the events above, we hope you will join us for Central’s Day of Giving on Sept. 29. This 24-hour fundraising event encourages Central alumni, students, faculty and staff, and friends of the university to give back to UCO illustrating the Broncho Spirit. Proceeds from Central Day of Giving this year will benefit Bronchos Helping Bronchos, a program that provides students with emergency funding for situations that would prevent them from being able to focus on school.

Additional Events
