The Jill Priest Distinguished Freshman Scholarship for Dance was established to honor the life and indomitable spirit of Jill Priest, former associate dean for the College of Fine Arts and Design.

Priest was a Central alumna, earning a Bachelor of Arts in dance education from UCO, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in choreography and performance from Texas Woman’s University.
