Alumnus Inducted  into Oklahoma Accounting Hall of Fame
Randy Ross, CPA, became the 56th inductee of the Oklahoma Accounting Hall of Fame at the annual members meeting of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) on June 5, 2015.
Ross graduated from Central in 1977 and currently serves as the executive director of the Oklahoma Accountancy Board, mayor of Choctaw and as a UCO Foundation trustee.

His previous awards include the OSCPA's Outstanding CPA in Business, the 2014 Don Rider Award, UCO's Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012 and the 2000 Light on Learning Award from the Choctaw Nicoma Park School Foundation, among others.

The Oklahoma Accounting Hall of Fame grows by one member each year.

UCO invites you to celebrate the University's largest and newest on-campus building with a ribbon cutting, a dedication, guided tours and a reception. The Quad is located just north of the Business building, next to Buddy's Cafeteria.

UCO Laboratory of History Museum's 100th Anniversary - An Evening With Thomas Jefferson
7 p.m., August 7
Nigh University Center Ballroom C
Join us as we spend an evening with Mr. Jefferson in celebration of the Laboratory of History Museum's 100th anniversary. Founded in 1915, the museum preserves and exhibits UCO's history while serving as a training tool for students. Steven Edenbo has studied and portrayed Thomas Jefferson since 1999, appearing regularly at such venues as The National Archives in Washington, D.C. and Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Edenbo's presentation will include a question and answer session with the audience. This event is free and open to the public.

Nominate someone for the Luminary Society today!

With the 125-year celebration for the University of Central Oklahoma comes a new society that honors individuals who brought distinction to, or positively influenced the life of the university through their service and/or contributions.

This visionary group of 125 will be recognized throughout the celebration year and formally inducted into the new Luminary Society for the university. The society will continue to induct new members each year. Eligible nominees can be living or deceased and include alumni; former and current students and employees; or community members and advocates.
