You might be among the many who think that public universities like the University of Central Oklahoma are robustly supported by state appropriated funds and tax dollars. In reality, though, UCO is like many public higher education institutions that are seeing state funding support dwindle. Funds appropriated by the State of Oklahoma make up less than half of UCO's annual operating budget. Tuition and fees make up for some of the gap, but can never cover all of it while keeping a college education affordable for our students.
That's why private funding support is critical to UCO's ability to develop and enhance its transformative educational experience. Your gift to the UCO Foundation makes a quality college education attainable for thousands of students with the potential to be the next generation leaders in our communities. Your gift can fund new programs, facilities and opportunities. Your gift can literally transform a life!
We have several giving options listed for you on this page - areas most-worthy of your sincere generosity. And remember, a gift of $1,000 or more qualifies you to become a member of the university's prestigious giving society - The Presidential Partners Program.
Our Ways to Give page details our many giving opportunities, such as our Annual Fund, Presidential Partners, Planned Giving and Unrestricted Fund. As a part of our commitment to honoring the wishes of our donors, the UCO Foundation also allows for the establishment of new endowments and funds for donors with specific and unique funding interests.
The UCO Foundation meets or exceeds all federal regulations for nonprofit organizations. It is not only our duty, but our pleasure, to ensure your wishes for your gift are honored, and we have built our processes accordingly. You will find information on our financials, audits and processes on our Caring for Your Gift page.
